Saturday, December 6, 1-3 p.m.

Kids ages 3-12, drop in between 1-3 p.m. to decorate a potato with the provided craft supplies, and make it look like a character from a children’s book (examples: Pete the Cat, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Pigeon). While craft supplies and potatoes last.

Staff will vote on their favorite potatoes. The creators of the top 3 potatoes will win a potato Santa or potato elf plushy. Winners will be contacted on December 15.

If you cannot make it to the library during this drop in program, you can decorate a potato using  craft supplies you have at home. Drop off your potato at the children’s desk on December 8 or 9. All potato submissions will become property of the library.
